You bet it is! The beauty of digital products is that you only have to create them once—and then you can sell them to as many customers as you like, all over the world. It’s one of the easiest ways for creators, bloggers, educators, and freelancers to earn passive income without constantly trading time for money.
Sellfy has a few built-in features to help with that. You'll get access to buyer details like IP addresses and download logs. Also, you can restrict or block product downloads on any purchase (5 downloads). But if you're selling PDF files, Sellfy offers PDF stamping to add the buyer’s details right on the file which has been proven to reduce piracy and unauthorized sharing.
Pricing digital downloads can feel tricky, but here’s a simple rule: make sure your price covers your costs and leaves you with a profit you’re happy with. It’s also a good idea to look at what other creators in your niche are charging. Don’t be afraid to start a little higher—value-based pricing works best when you believe in the quality of what you’re offering.
As many as you want! There are no limits to the number of products you can sell on Sellfy. You can upload single files, or bundle up to 50 files in one product. Each file can be up to 20GB in size. Got something bigger? No worries. You can compress your files into a ZIP folder before uploading.

We’ve got creators selling ebooks, tutorials, videos, animations, fonts, 3D models, logos, Lightroom and Photoshop presets, apps, games, and even subscription-based products like fitness plans. Common file formats include pdf, epub, mp4, avi, jpg, png, tiff, and plenty more.
After the checkout, the customer is taken directly to the order confirmation page, where they can click the download button. We’ll also send them an email with the same download link—just in case they want to come back to it later. Each customer is limited to 5 download attempts, which allows them to download to more than one device but also keeps you safe from unauthorized sharing.
