How to switch from Shoprocket to Sellfy
Move your store in six steps, and keep Shoprocket selling until your Sellfy store is ready.
1. Export your products, customers and orders
In Shoprocket, use the Export button on the Products, Customers and Orders pages to download each as a CSV. Do it before you close your store, because closing deletes all its data.
2. Save your digital files
The product CSV holds product data, not your files, and Shoprocket doesn't document downloading them back. Collect your originals first.
3. Set up your Sellfy store
Start a 14-day free trial, no credit card needed, and connect PayPal or Stripe. Files can be up to 10GB on Starter, against Shoprocket's 5GB.
4. Add your products, or let AI do it
Copy your product details from the Shoprocket CSV and upload your files. Or give the CSV to Claude or ChatGPT and let it create the drafts through Sellfy's MCP server.
5. Import your email list
Shoprocket doesn't document consent in its customer export, so keep only customers who agreed to hear from you. On a paid plan, upload them as a one-column CSV under Email marketing > Import.
6. Swap your embed, then cancel Shoprocket
Replace Shoprocket's embed code on your site with Sellfy buy buttons or an embedded store. Then cancel under Settings > Billing, and your plan runs to the end of the billing period.
