TWO for Prologue

TWO for Prologue is a User Oscillator for uploading to a Korg Prologue synthesiser. At its heart is an algorithm which allows the creation of new derived waveforms from two separate base waveforms. There are sixteen possible combinations of waveforms in total.

The second of the two base waveforms can be phase modulated using the Prologue's shape control, which itself can be controlled from the synth's LFO as well as by an envelope generator built into the User Oscillator This EG has various modes allowing it to be looped as well as have its rate controlled by the XD's LFO.

TWO for Prologue generates sound from three detunable digital oscillators.

This digital download product includes the user oscillator plus TWELVE presets specifically designed for the user oscillator. For an overview of TWO for Prologue and to hear the presets in action please see this video:

(Note that this video showcases the Minilogue XD version of the user oscillator but it is identical to the Prologue in terms of sound and functionality.)

Pre-requisites for installing this User Oscillator are (i) the Korg MIDI USB driver for your computer, and (ii) the Korg Prologue Sound Librarian. You will need a compatible Mac or PC to connect to your Prologue. Please refer to the Prologue's "Librarian and Contents" section of the Korg website for more details and download links.
