HELP! / FAQ

Thank you for your purchase! Please read over this page carefully before contacting customer support.

Where are my presets? I was never emailed a link.
A: There are only a few reasons why this happens. Most often the case is the email found its way to your junk folder. Please make sure to check that! The email comes from Sellfy, so be on the lookout. Another common reason is the email linked to your paypal account is different than the email you currently use. The preset link is sent to the email connected to your paypal. Lastly is paying by e-check. Paypal takes 4-5 business days to process an e-check and sellfy will hold delivery of the link until payment is cleared.

Can I download these on my phone?
A: NO!! These files MUST be downloaded using your laptop or deskrtop. This is a zipped file with contents inside.

Will these presets work on my phone if I download with a laptop or desktop?
A: Yes. Once downloaded, you can sync your mobile device with lightroom CC and use these presets on your mobile app, but they must first be downloaded using a laptop or desktop.

Why are these making some of my images dark? I thought it was supposed to make everything look amazing.
A: Presets can't make EVERYTHING look amazing. A lot of what drives the success of a preset when editing, is first capturing the photo IN camera properly. An evenly exposed photo with good even light will make for outstanding preset edits. If you run a preset over a poorly exposed photo, it will naturally not look as good and require more manual adjustments.

Why arent these presets showing up in my Lightroom? I followed your instructions.
A:
You want to be sure you are using version 7.5 of Lightroom or higher when using XMP file presets. If you are running an older version of lightroom, you can use the .lrtemplate file presets. Both are included in our 2018 Fall Pack. As of 2019, Adobe has moved everything to XMP. Presets work best with RAW images. If a preset is greyed out, make sure you are actually editing a RAW photo - not a JPEG or a Screenshot, etc.

What is the difference from an XMP file and a .lrtemplate file?
A:
An XMP file is the new file type for a preset adobe has switched over to. These are compatible with Lightroom, Photoshop and Camera Raw. After the new update, adobe converted all your preset files to XMP. LRTEMPLATE is the old preset file type restricted to ONLY lightroom. They are installed in two different folders.

Do you offer refunds on digital products?
A: Unfortunately no
. Being a digital product and unlike hard goods, it is not something we currently offer. We are only claiming our presets to work with the year they are created and that corresponding version of Lightroom. With how fast things are updated & changed, we do our best to make sure everything remains compatible but can not indefinitely guarantee this.
