Body Like That

Jermaine André’s Body Like That! is a must-have book for anyone who wants to not only look really good in whatever clothing they choose to wear, but to become more healthy and fit than they ever imagined they could be. It also delivers an antidote to bullying, which is very helpful to anyone who is interesting in launching an anti-bullying campaign. While that might sound like a tall order for a simple book, this one delivers. This book draws on Mr. André’s lifetime devotion to health and fitness to help readers understand why wildly popular “fitness” products and services do not work as advertised. The section on Understanding Corruption in the Fitness Industry is a real eye opener. Body Like That! also takes on the food industry in the Nutrition or Die Now section. The information he provides brings home what a few brave souls who practice truth-telling about our food industry have been trying to tell us: eat as much natural foods as possible and pre-packaged foods do not contribute to a healthy body. Mr. André’s straight forward writing elevates the message to actionable activity. It’s hard to read it and not be motivated to change. But, the author does not drop these kernels of information on us and leave us hanging. He acknowledges that each person is different, and in this book shows how people who make the decision to take care of their body should first understand how the body operates. Understanding is critical to making a lasting change to become, and stay, fit. In addition to providing readers with excellent foundational information about fitness and nutrition, Body Like That! outlines three of Mr. André’s custom exercise and nutrition programs: a two week Express Workout routine, Lean Muscle Tone and Fat Loss, and a Massive Muscle Gain and Fat Loss program. For readers who want to target specific areas of the body, this book shows exactly what muscles are targeted by each exercise featured. For instance, if you want stronger arms, or legs, this book shows you what exercises you need to do, and the muscles that are involved in each exercise that is recommended. Further, the book has pictures of the exact position your body should be in during the exercise. Everything needed for success is included, from menus and delicious recipes to a paint-by-the-numbers series of exercises in each specific program. People who are following exactly what is outlined in this book have experienced life-altering changes. Some could barely walk with assistance when they began Mr. André’s program. Now they are rejoicing in the core strength of their body, and the agility of their limbs. You would never believe that they once walked with the aid of a walker and cane. Young people who had little self-esteem and were victims of bullying found self-confidence through Mr. André’s program, and are no longer victims. Mr. André also finds a way to make men comfortable with the idea of changing their bodies and their health for the better. However, some of his most visually astounding work is with what he calls “divas.” His is not your mother’s weight loss program. Although weight loss is certainly involved, the greatest change is in health, vitality, and what you see in the mirror. And yes, it’s possible through what is revealed in this book.
