SCI 230 Week 2 DQ 1

Question:
DQ1: Why is it important to differentiate between eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells? What do you think is the biggest difference between the two?

Response 1
It is important to differentiate between eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells because they are two different types of cells, with completely different atmospheres. The prokaryotic cell has a meaning that is "before a nucleus" which means there is no nucleus present in the prokaryotic cell. Eukaryotic means "possessing a true nucleus."
