PictoTalks: Craig Redman/Darcel Disappoints

As an illustrator Craig Redman works together with London-based Karl Maier to create bold work with simple messages, often with a humorous twist. The pair have exhibited across the world, most notably at the Musée de la Publicité, Louvre, and worked on projects for clients such as LVMH, Google, Nike, Apple, Vogue and The New York Times. After moving to New York in 2007, Craig started his daily blog Darcel Disappoints, a reflection on the highs and – especially – lows of big city life. His Cyclops image is famous throughout the fashion and celebrity worlds. In an on-going collaboration with Paris concept-store Colette and other companies, Craig has produced versions of Darcel for selected media avenues. 25'33'', Stereo, 720p HD mov file (H.264), 401.4 MB
