For this assignment, you will choose from the following options:

• Option 2: Profit and Loss Statement Paper



Read the instructions in the University of Phoenix Material: Accounting System Paper located on the student website (as Assessment in Week 3 section) and select one option to complete the assignment.



Grading Criteria: For the Accounting System Paper, write the following:



Option 1 Grading Criteria:



Prepare a 3-5 page paper which covers the following:

Describe the value of a new accounting system to Kudler Fine Foods.

Include the following aspects of the proposed system:



• Key features

• Core technology

• Benefits

• Costs



Keep your paper at a high level, but provide enough details so the executives at Kudler Fine Foods can decide whether to pursue the project based on your paper.



Option 2 Grading Criteria:



Prepare a 3-5 page paper which covers the following:

Describe the most recent profit and loss statement for one of the following Virtual Organizations:



• Riordan

• McBride

• Kudler



Keep your paper at a high level, but provide enough details so the reader can understand what the key points are for a profit and loss statement and how they relate to your Virtual Organization selection.



Common Grading Criteria for either option:

• Prepare a 3 – 5 page paper in APA format that describes the above electronic commerce program for the assigned virtual organization.

• Use appropriate external citations and references (minimum of 3), in addition to including references to the required readings (or virtual organizations, Element K modules) where relevant within the assignment, but must be included. Be sure citations and references follow the University of Phoenix approved style guide format (the Written Assignments Guidelines, along with properly cited APA references). Please Note: Dictionary and Encyclopedia citations and references will not count towards your reference/citation count.

• Submit your final copy of your paper through the Center for Writing Excellence – Plagiarism Checker and attach the summary report to the end of your paper (after the Reference page – CTL+A on HTML TurnItIn report page, CTL+C (Copy), then CTL+V (Paste) after Reference page). This is logistic a requirement for this Individual Student assignment. I do not want a separate attachment for the summary.



Post: Completed paper as a properly formatted assignment (Title page, Table of Contents (optional), References and Plagiarism Summary Report (these sections do not count towards the 3 – 5 page length of the paper)) as a Word document to the Assignments Link for grading purposes.
