PHI208 Discussion 2, Week 4

I think that if one were to ask these questions, it would be obvious that we were communicating with artificial intelligence verses a live person. Computers are not capable of experiencing feelings and emotions. These responses must to be given by a human being because a computer would not be capable of explaining the significance of a tragic event like a real person that has real feelings can. Computers are able to mimic the types of things that humans do, but the way that they recognize human actions are extremely different. Humans develop feelings when as we mature but computers do not mature. They are merely programmed by humans to perform certain actions. Humans are born with the natural ability to love, nurture and experience feelings and emotions. You cannot teach or program a machine to feel things. Just because they are programed to do certain things does not mean they can truly feel the same things that humans can
