Rayann comes to us today with very long, very thick wavy hair. She wants a haircut that is above the ears. The barber starts with scissor over comb on dry hair. The cutting continues all around until all of the long hair is removed. A thick pile of hair covers the floor. Clippers come next as they buzz a path above each ear and up the nape. A shorter guard is used to taper the edges. Scissor over comb on wet hair cuts the top shorter too. A straight razor cleans the hairline. For a quick photo op the long hair is picked up from the floor and deposited into Rayann's lap. Rayann has had quite a day going from very long hair to a cute boy cut. She looks great in either style.
