To begin with, I would like to personally thank you for the all the hard work and time you have invested in our company. At this time, we would like to inform you of some upcoming changes to our store policies. The purpose of these policy changes is to save our employees time as well as ensure the survival of our company during this difficult economic situation.
Beginning in January, 2010, store hours will change and so will the scheduling of employees. From now on, the store will be opening one hour later and closing one hour earlier. The store will no longer be open on Sundays. Our full time employees can still expect 40 hours a week, however, their schedules will be affected. An extra day off can be expected as shifts will now generally be 10 hours instead of 8. Part time employees will also consolidate their hours. These employees should not expect to work more than 3 days a week.
