COMM 400 Personal Communications Evaluations and Analysis

Communication is very important in today’s world.   The objective of communication is to convey information in a way that it is clearly understood and in a suitable manner.  Conveying data includes both the person sending the message and the person receiving the message.   Communication may sometimes be misconstrued, conveyed with misunderstanding and often misused (Guetzkow and Simon, 2005).  The solution for getting information through and with the least misunderstanding and mistakes is successful communication.

Communication is not limited and through the means of quick and regular improvements in technology, individuals are communicating more regularly and using numerous different types of communication.  Verbal communication is made up of conveying face to face.  Dissimilar components of verbal communication are comprised of sounds, expressions, talking, speech and vernacular.  Nonverbal communication components are comprised of signals, eye contact, facial demonstrations, body expressions and artifacts.  No matter what type of communication style is used; communication should constantly be effective, comprehensible, and moral.
