While the idea of codification goes returning to the Code of Hammurabi in Babylon ca. 1790 BC, civil law techniques obtain from the Roman Kingdom and, more particularly, the Corpus JurisCivilis from the Emperor Justinian ca. AD 529. This was an extensive change of the law in the Byzantine Kingdom, providing it together into codified records. Municipal law was also partially affected by spiritual rules such as Cannon law and Islamic law.[3][4] Municipal law nowadays, theoretically, is regarded rather than designed or created by most judges.
