The Bad Lands

Despite the description, this painting is primarily about the painting of the foreground flowers that we saw as we passed through the Bad Lands of South Dakota. The demonstration takes into account color and texture of which there are lots of in this painting. Roger creates sharp foreground images of flowers and leaves which are enhanced and made stronger by the use of a soft background. Color also plays a part.
Sarah also takes you on a tour through parts of this rugged country.
