HIS324 week1-2

If there were no clear distinction between public and private schools than the private schools would not be allowed to pray or teach religion.  They would not be able to teach the children at higher grade levels for that the government would mandate their teaching guidelines.  Private schools would have to would not be able mandate their uniform policy and they would not have a strict hold on students as they do now.  There would be more students and make learning in a private school setting harder to learn for that they would not have the discipline that students educated in the private schools already have become accustomed to.  “Today we think of public schools as supported by tax dollars and private school sustained by tuition” (Gaither, 2011).  If private schools were funded by tax dollars than parents would not be able to have a say so in what their children were learning.
