Priming in Psychology

For a company or an institution to thrive, it is important to set a good relation with the public. As a result, a Public relations consultant is a professional who deals with the constant maintenance of a conducive and favorable public image by a particular organization. 

Priming is a cognitive technique that in one way or another guide the behavior of a person. Priming occurs when there is an increase in attention to a particular stimulus which then increases the saliency of an attitude, category, goal or identity, which in the long run increases the possibility of using it when judging the resultant encountered stimulus. It is clear from the nonconsciousdiscussion that a lot is seen going on outside the conscious awareness of our consumer. Clearly, one thing is for sure; various research shows that the subsequent information, provided to our subjects, in one way or another
