ColorHex
provides a set of tools which are useful for painting your models using #Hex color values.



Tools Overview:




Hex Brush Tool

The Hex Brush Tool paint faces with #hex color values. You can **click & drag** mouse to continuously lay paint to the SketchUp model.

Hotkeys...


  • Press the 'Alt key' to toggle the Hex Sample Tool.



  • Press the 'Shift key' to quickly access Hex Input Tool.

Hex Sample Tool

The Hex Sample Tool will pick the color value of face entity to paint with.

Hex Input Tool

The Hex Input Tool allows you to enter a #hex color value to paint.

Hex Magic Wand Tool

The Magic Wand Tool selects connected faces with the same color.

Usage

Inside SketchUp, select Extensions  ColorHex

Installing on SketchUp 2017 & 2018

Inside SketchUp, select Window → Extension Manager (Microsoft Windows) or SketchUp → Extension Manager (Mac OS X), then click → Install Extension and select the RBZ file you just downloaded. Voila! SketchUp installs the extension.



Installing on SketchUp 2016

Inside SketchUp, select Window → Preferences (Microsoft Windows) or SketchUp → Preferences (Mac OS X) → Extensions → Install Extension and select the RBZ file you just downloaded. Voila! SketchUp installs the extension.
