SOC 203 The Interconnection of Social Problems

A life of crime does not just have an effect on that individual person, but it also effects the well-being and emotions of their families also. When criminals are punished for their crime of course they suffer from their actions, but it is the one who they left behind struggles also. Most of the time, it is the person who is committing the crimes that is the breadwinner of the family, so with them gone that family is left with a lot of financial burden that is hard for them to come back from; even though they were getting their money or things they need illegally. Different races are treated different ways when it comes time for punishment, and especially when they are released after the time spent incarcerated.
