Response : Using a flow chart to develop and document software is much like having a set of blue prints to build a house. The flow chart is useful in that it enables the developers of a particular program to stay on track with the planned end result of the program. It also helps in that when there is a mistake and the program does not work or work as intended, being able to reference back to the flow chart and follow the steps allows you to possibly locate the error, and correct it. With a flow chart, you can actually "see" each step that was taken.
