Bernard Hill is a highly recruited high school basketball player with a promising future ahead of him. But after a night out that ends with a horrific car accident and a trip to the hospital, his promising career becomings more challenging.
On top of being charged with murder, armed robbery and other charges, the injuries from the car accident left him deaf. He is forced to turn his back on the sport he loves so he could deal with his legal problems and his newly acquired disability. His best friends, Kevin and Shawn, along with Monica, his tutor, take on the challlenges of proving his innocence and reigniting the passion in him that made him one of the best players in the country. It all comes down to one game " the city championship" to prove to the college scouts and himself that he still has what it takes. But will he be ready?
