Types of disabilities include (not an exclusive list) Learning disability, Intellectual disability, Visually impaired/blind, Hearing impaired/deaf, Auditory Processing delay, Developmental delay, etc. The Case Study will consist of 5-8 pages (plus Reference pages) to include the following: 1) introducing the AT; 2) function for intended use and how it will support the student; 3) explain the alignment of Common Core Standards, learning goals/objectives, and the instructional support (i.e. AT). A discussion should also include how the AT will assist the focus learner to move toward the learning goal/objective. Finally, include the inclusion into a school classroom and/or tutoring program. (use the rubric to guide project development) the focus child will be any of the above disability you choose.
