Training is a fundamental element to the success of any organization.  Initial training when an employee is first hired, is very important.  If a person’s initial training is lacking they will not be able to perform to standards on the job.  Likewise, ongoing training is important as the company progresses. New laws or updated technology will call for existing employees to received ongoing training that coincides with the progression of the company.

The need for employees to be trained also is increased when there are certain changes like change of job nature, change of work methods, and change in consumers, or product development. The organization goes through the following steps for the transfer of training to the field.
