Releasing the Knots

Yoga awakens us to feel and access deep existing power to release the grantas, the physical and energetic ‘knots’ that hold us tight in the shoulders, hips and heart. Maintaining a steady connection to the breath, we move through a 45 minute mixed practice of standing poses, binds, back bends, hip openers, and pincha muyerasana (forearm stand) variations. Class ends with sirsasana (headstand) before savasana.

Intermediate level. Props: 2 blocks, a strap, and wall for Inversions.
