About

In a time where Direct To Garment (DTG) is becoming more prevalent, there's something to be said about a traditional plastisol print done with true analog screens and halftones. Like music on a vinyl record, traditional screen printing captures the character of warmth and texture that can't be easily done digitally with DTG. It lacks the "je ne sais quoi" with ink printed through a screen with a squeegee.
To help capture that aesthetic and get your separations on film and apparel, I've developed Hi-Fi Ink, an extensive set of Photoshop actions that creates channel separations. With Hi-Fi Ink you can create separations for traditional CMYK 4 color process, simulated process, monochrome greyscale and spot color to use on t-shirts, posters and many other applications that need color separation. Hi-Fi Ink can also help you distress your image; giving your print a vintage and worn look, add registration marks, and halftone your film without the need for RIP software. Born out of the love of slingin' ink with a styling of a Grindhouse B-movie, Hi-Fi Ink is the culmination of experience and the love of screen printing.
With 16 years designing, 12 years screenprinting, 7+ years printing experience, Hi-Fi Ink has been optimized for the best results possible. No bloated gimmicks, just the streamlined tools to get your separations on film and keep the analog printing alive. Hi-Fi Ink is more than a product, it's a passion.
