How do I open my downloaded files?
Uncompress the .rar or .zip file using Winrar app (if required)

How do I use a Vocal Effect (Full FLP)?

Most downloads will come with several versions of each Project file (FLP), locate the one you'll be using...

For Free VST Template users
(Make sure to download free VST's first!, found in ' VST Download Link Text File')

Then proceed to open the FLP, once open...

1.) Locate the ' Mic Input ' channel on the mixer and add Microphone.
1.1) Add your microphone to this channel.
2.) Add 2-Track Beat to ' Instrumental ' channel.
3.) Mute all effects in the mixer.
4.) Adjust your Microphone gain and position until you get the best sound possible.
5.) Unmute all effects one by one.
6.) Adjust Beat until you are happy (Or leave at default!)

How do I use a Preset Pack (.Fst file) (In FL Studio)?
For the best experience, drag each preset type to it's preset folder here:

Windows
C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\FL Studio 12\Data\Patches\Plugin presets\Effects

Eg: Fruity Parametric 2 - Effects - Wrapper Fruity Parametric 2 - Vocal EQ's

You will then be able to load the preset within the VST.
You can also add the file directory to the Channel Rack..

VST errors when opening an FLP?
1.) Check the Readme file for links to each Free VST used.
2.) You will need your own paid for VST's eg: Antares Autotune or Waves, make sure to read the product description for which VST's were used!

Can I use the files with FL Studio 9, 10 and 11?
They are MANY versions of FL Studio but you should be able to use any FL Studio 12 file but not any FL 20.

Best is to download FL 20 because it is a seperate installer and won't ruin anything.
*Make sure to keep FL 20 and FL 12 projects seperate!

I can't get a good vocal sound?
Is your room quiet and treated enough to record in?
Tip: try hanging up a blanket/carpet and aiming your mic at it, this will help reduce roomtone. Google: ' Home studio Vocal booth blanket '

Did you set up your Microphone gain/position right? (Low noise, no harshness etc)
Tip: Google ' Vocal Microphone Positioning and gain staging '

Are you using a decent microphone?
We use a Blue Spark MKI (Mic) with an M-Audio M-Track (Interface), cheap but good enough!

Did you disable each preset and A/B it?
Sometimes a certain preset can be too aggressive for your vocal, get creative, the possibilities are endless!

Delay while recording?

Spend some time studying latency and how plugins + Delay compensation settings affect what you hear.

1.) Turn off all plugins and enable each one by one (hover over each VST and look to the top left panel to see what latency each plugin carries)

2.) Set Settings -> Audio Settings -> buffer length to 256 samples and below, anything more than 16ms is going to sound too far ahead to record too, so learn to record with only Autotune, and compressor, some reverb etc.
