Words that are highlighted are new to the grade and an asterisk indicates that students may not use these words specifically, but teachers could introduce it.
This teacher handbook is intended to support teachers by helping them to:
● target key mathematical vocabulary at each grade level
● better understand sample strategies and supports that can be used to help students engage in mathematical vocabulary
