DJ Conversion Utility Streaming (DJCU/s) for macOS

This is the DJ Conversion Utility Streaming, for tracks on audio streaming services,

not the DJ Conversion Utility for regular audio files that you've bought/downloaded!

The current version of DJCU does NOT convert to djay Pro 5, conversion FROM djay Pro 5 is supported

The DJ Conversion Utility Streaming converts metadata for tracks from audio streaming services between DJ software.

For example: 

set cues and loops for Tidal tracks on your iPhone using djay AI and convert, using DJCU/s, to a Denon Prime 4.

DJCU/S supports tracks from:

• Tidal
• Beatsource LINK
• Beatport LINK

DJCU/S allows conversion of metadata between:

• Traktor 3.5
• Rekordbox 6
• Serato
• Denon DJ Prime gear (from the Denon GO to the SC6000)
  DJCU/s is compatible with both the old Engine Prime 1.x and the new Engine OS 2.0
• conversion FROM Algoriddim's djay Pro 5.0, not conversion TO ! 
• Virtual DJ

Conversion limitations listed per DJ software

All metadata is converted means all metadata both the source and target DJ software have in common.

Traktor 3.x:
as source:

• No artwork

as destination:

• No artwork
   

Rekordbox 6:

as source:

• all metadata is converted

as destination:

• all metadata is converted

Virtual DJ

as source:

• sketchy beatgrids
• artwork 160x160 pixels (kind of low res)
• No selection by modification date possible

as destination:

• all metadata is converted

Serato

• names and colors for loops are not stored by Serato, so will not be converted

as destination:

• all metadata is converted

Engine OS gear

Important for Tidal:

Because stream quality can not be set for Tidal tracks on the Engine OS gear, shifts in cues and loops may occur.

as source:

• all metadata is converted
• no selection possible by modification date

as destination:

• static grids are only converted if the tracks are analyzed by the player prior to conversion. If tracks were not analyzed, the player's analysis will overwrite the converted grid! 
• the player's display only shows tags from the streaming service
• artwork is converted, on the display of the player only the streaming service's artwork is shown. If the track is loaded in the deck the jogwheel's center dipslay shows the converted artwork.

• Star Ratings (as soon as djay supports these for streaming tracks)
• No selection possible by modification date or date added

IMPORTANT:

• MacOS only, you need an Apple Macintosh (compatible) computer (MacBook, iMac, MacMini etc) incl the M1 macs! 
• Only Tidal, Beatport streaming and Beatsource streaming are supported as audio streaming services.
• DJCU/s only works with Rekordbox 6 and has been tested up to Rekordbox version 6.8.2
• The support audio streaming services are Beatport streaming, Beatsource and Tidal.
• No refunds if you use a different Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux or iOS. 
• An iPad/iPhone is NOT a MacOS computer, it is an iOS device
• fully compatible with macOS from version 10.13 (High Sierra) upto macOS 15 (Sonoma) including M1/M2 macs
• the App requires an open internet connection during startup
• Please read carefully about which conversion is supported and what is not. No refunds if your "desired" conversion is not listed!
• This is not a "ripping" tool, DJCU/S requires a valid subscription to the streaming service you want to convert to or from.

License lost?
The license to the app is the PayPal email address used to pay for the purchase. This is not necessarily the same email address as the download link was sent to. If you don't know your license anymore, we can only look up PayPal information for the past 2 years. If your purchase was earlier then we can not help you and you need to buy a new license.
