While I cannot offer printer troubleshooting as each printer is different please don’t hesitate to contact me
and I’ll do my best to offer a solution.

  • The best way to get perfect prints is to master your own printer
  • Practice printing on a few pages first
  • We recommend using only ADOBE PDF and not 3rd party PDF readers.
  • Take note of standard printing paper in your country:
  1.  USA / Canada / North America - Letter Size (8.5 in x 11 in)
  2.  Europe / ISO / Asia / Rest of the World - A4 (210 x 297 mm)

Print your inserts

AUTOMATIC DUPLEX PRINTING

This is for printers with automatic duplex printing features.

  • Set to  “actual size” or 100%, select “AUTO-ROTATE & CENTER”
  • Print to double-sided, no margins, with the duplex set to flip on NONE or SHORT EDGE

MANUAL DUPLEX PRINTING

This is for printers with only single side printing. I prefer this way of printing myself.

In the Adobe Reader Print Dialogue box

  • Set to  “actual size” or 100%,
  • In the print dialogue box go to PRINT RANGE, click ALL then got SUBSET, select ODD or EVEN
  • Print the ODD pages first (Pages 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 etc.)
  • Then refeed / insert the printed pages face down (or face up which really depends on how your printer feeds the paper)
  • And then print the rest of the EVEN pages (Pages 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc.)

  COLLATE your pages after printing.

The first page should be at the bottom and your last printed page should  be on top of the pile.

FOLD your collated pages in the center to form a booklet.

Add your cover sheet and staple or sewn bind, and trim according to size.
